Kiwi Camping Tuatara 270° Self-Supporting Awning 2M

Set up in under 1-minute, providing a vast amount of shade, the Tuatara 270° 2.0m Self-Supporting Awning mounts to your existing roof racks to open out on the passenger side of your vehicle. The awning offers a large 270° of covered shade and includes fold-out poles for extra support. (Note 2.5m pictured).

MATERIALS AND FEATURES:  

• Heavy-Duty Aluminium Frame: Powder coated Aluminium A-frame design is lightweight but extremely strong. 

• Awning Body: Made from a 280g Ripstop Polycotton material is rip-proof, waterproof, and weatherproof. It is lightweight but extremely hard-wearing.

• Self Supporting: Self-supporting in up to 15 knots, The self-supporting design makes setting up the awning a 1-minute job and gives you a pole-free space below to get out of the elements.

• Seam Sealing and Double Stitching: with double stitching on all major joins and high-use areas for extra strength and heated Seam sealing on every seam inside the tent keeps all the weather out and you nice and dry!

• Anti Pooling: A fabric tensioner on each A-frame supporting keeps the awning tight and stops water from pooling, the extra guy rope points help to direct the flow of water off your awning in heavy rain! 

• Support Legs: 2 permanently fixed support poles for extra support in high winds and 2 loose poles if you need some extra support or want to use the option wall set. 

• Travel Cover:  Heavy-duty 1000D PVC with a 20,000mm waterproof rating built to handle New Zealand's diverse weather and toughest trails. With an added Zipper guard for extra protection in wet weather

• Cambuckle Compression Straps:  40mm thick webbing straps with Zinc coated aluminium cam buckles for easier and more secure pack down.

• Easy Pull Zippers: All our zippers come with our standard Kiwi Camping easy-grip zipper pulls! No more fumbling for the zipper!

• Heavy-duty Pegs And Guy Ropes: We have used our oversized guy ropes and Electroplated pegs that we use on our biggest family tents!
